ORCHARD ROAD CHATSWOOD

Using Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and Urban Renew’s BioKapture biofiltration garden, Urban Renew created a tree lined gateway into Chatswood CBD, incorporating 15 new trees and raingardens.

The BioKapture biofiltration system, located at the entrance to the raingardens, redirects and filters a majority of the pollutant wastewater. By using the innovative, fully replaceable and plastic free biofiltration garden, the biofiltration raingarden layer can be removed and swapped as often as needed.
